I like this one. It’s simple and straightforward about its message.
Like the black and simplicity.
I like it. And I think I need this shirt hahah
i like this one! simple!
I LOVE IT!!!!! The simplicity of it is what really caught me.
Oh, I like it! I’ve always seen those shirt designs and I’ve always wanted one. That is pretty cool. Haha. Good job!
I like it, but to me the stick figures look too rigid and very unhuman and has a repetitive pose. I think if you actually hand drew the figures, you can add some more expression. For the first box I think you should get rid of the extra person and draw the figure so that it looks like its looking up and shrugging (question mark towards God). For the second box, you can draw the figure looking into the box. I think by drawing it you can make the design look more cartoony and comicy like the design implies. Here is a link to a webcomic that specializes in stick figures! http://xkcd.com/659/
Really? I like the stick figures the way they are. I like the symmetry of it and the consistency (if you notice how the left arm is always in the same angle in every picture, so it’s like emphasizing the same person doing the three things).
I kind of do agree with Chanhee about making the stick figures look less stiff. That can be easily solved however if you use my tablet Nancy! =) Otherwise, this design is amazing. I’ve always wanted a shirt like that (but with a christian message haha)
I like it, but maybe you can take out the periods?
actually i agree. no periods would be nice. i meant to point that out earlier
I love stick figure t-shirts
Nice design, easy to understand.
i like stick figures. stiff stick figures are in, especially in this type of design (cartoon panels)
btw, i like how the verse is in the box. HAHAA
i’m wondering if it would be better to not have the words “ask, seek, knock” on the shirt at all – to make it more implied. i think a huge fear in making christian t-shirts is that it would come off overly blatant, and that has really been the cause of ridicule of Christian shirts. just an idea
same with the Cup Overflows shirt, but I hesitate to take it off on that one, because it looks so coool on that one haha
I think it is fine. The t-shirts you mentioned as being the cause of ridicule really are overly blatant. Jesus, the cross, gospel, salvation, satan, etc. are the “magic” words. But we don’t have these blatant words stamped across our t-shirts. I don’t want the t-shirt’s messages to be so elusive that it becomes comparable to supposedly worship songs that sound like secular romance songs.
I completely agree with you. Leave on the words. I think the words are vague enough in that when seen by other Christians it is understood, but for nonbelievers it will not be obvious and leaves room for a conversation starter.
This design is incredible! You certainly know how to keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Great job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
